KARACHI - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is unwilling to become part of federal cabinet again despite the PML Ns decision to part ways with PPP in Punjab. Sources said the ruling PPP has renewed contacts with the MQM to woo the party to rejoin the federal cabinet. Sources in the MQM said the MQM Rabita Committee in their meeting decided that the party will not become part of the federal cabinet. However, the MQM will continue its support to the ruling PPP at the federal and Sindh level. It may be mentioned that a few days back, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah along with Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza and Agha Siraj Durrani visited Nine-Zero to resolve the differences between the leaders of two parties and address the grievances of MQM. MQM deputy parliamentary leader in National Assembly Haider Abbas Rizvi said MQM was not interested in rejoining the federal cabinet until its demands were met. He said the party would continue to support the present democratic system as per the vision of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain.
