KARACHI - Wrapped in a cloth, body of an infant was recovered from Jumma Goth, Malir, on Saturday, police officials said.
The dead baby-boy was buried at Mewa Shah graveyard.
The Sindh Police, on last Thursday, claimed to have arrested a midwife, namely Nuzhat Aslam, who was allegedly involved in dumping five baby girls on February 12. The growing incidents of dumping babies’ bodies have stirred up a profound grief among the citizens.
Citizens are of the view that poverty and social immorality were the reasons behind such incidents.
