PESHAWAR  – Awami National Party, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, General Secretary Arbab Tahir Saturday said that the slogan of ANP was peace and they wanted peace on their soil at all costs.
The ANP, he said, was an identity for Pakhtuns and the party would never let them down. He was talking at the meeting of ANP district working committee of Kohat. The meeting besides others was also attended by ANP district president, Syed Saeed Shah Bukhari, MNA Khurshid Begum, MPA Musarrat Shafi, district general secretary, Gul Muhammad, Mian Mushtaq, Mirza Ehsanullah Khan and former chief justice Syed Ibne Ali.
Arbab Tahir stressed upon the party workers to set aside their personal differences and work in the larger interest of the party. He said what they needed at the moment was unity.

Arbab said workers must spread the ANP vision and the slogan of peace as taught by Bacha Khan to every nook and corner and that must also be reflected in their deeds and norms.
He said a party meeting on provincial level would be called every month in which they would try to resolve the problems being faced by the workers at district level.
