It has been seen that deer enclosed in a wire mesh enclosure in CC sector park of Phase IV of DHA are harassed by crows that injure the animals by picking at their wounds. As a result, the deer are so frightened that they don’t come out of their shelter to feed outside. It is suggested that a crow may be killed and hung outside the enclosure to keep the crows away. Under the existing situation the deer would starve as these could not feed properly due to fear of crows that are preying upon the poor animals that cannot escape the crows and keep running in circles with crows following them. An inspection of CC – park would confirm the above situation and it is suggested that the Park management may have more supervision over the park affairs.
