LAHORE – Pakistan Medical Association has appealed to the Chief Minister Punjab to restart the anti quackery campaign on priority basis before the number of Dengue cases start to rise again.

PMA Punjab office bearers have said that mishandling of patients at the hands of quacks has caused an alarming increase in deaths last year. They said that slowing down the campaign has already resulted in reopening of such businesses and there was an urgent need to eliminate the menace in larger public interests.

They suggested the CM to register complaints against quacks on the helpline established for dengue patients.
