LAHORE – A free eye camp for flood affected people has started at the THQ Hospital Kot Addu. MPA Ahmad Yar Hinjra inaugurated the eye camp, while Medical Superintendent Dr Muhammad Iqbal, senior journalist Haji Saleem Riaz, Dr Shoaib Gurmani, Eye surgeon Dr Muhammad Shafiq Khan and others were also present on the occasion. This camp is organized with the AMWT.

More than 1000 patients visited the camp and 60 cataract surgeries recommended for operation. All facilities including food, medicines, blood sugar screening and cataract surgeries to be free of cost to poor and needy people. Al Mustafa would also set up free eye camps in other flood affected areas of the country, he added.
