BAHAWALPUR- The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F will organise Islam Zindabad Conference on Sunday (today) at Gulzar-e-Sadiq here.
The conference will be addressed by JUI Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other leading leaders. JUI,-F General Secretary Senator Abdul Ghafoor Haidri said that his party chief would announce the JUI policy over the desecration of the Holy Quran in Afghanistan by the Nato forces, NATO supply and drone attacks.
For the event, the police have made security arrangements. Bahawalpur Regional Police Officer Capt (r) Syed Abid Qadri has pledged full security of the gathering to avert any untoward incident.
He criticised the removal of the banners inscribed with Islam Zindabad Conference from the city roads on the arrival of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on February 24.
