People reject radio tax

ISLAMABAD – People in twin cities have rejected the proposed radio tax and said that the government wants to put extra burden on them and to hide its bad governance.
They said if this horrible tax is implemented then they will take to the streets. According to a survey conducted by Online 80 out of 100 people strongly rejected the suggestion and asked as to why the govt is putting burden on the common people.
They also stated that the govt is responsible for devastating Radio Pakistan. They demanded that the govt should make this organization a profitable one by removing the corrupt administration.
Liaquat Ali, Meran Bux, Javed Baloch, Ansar Sultan, Ilyas, Mukhtar Hussain, Haji Sultan and others stated that the government had earlier imposed PTV licence fee in electricity bills and now the radio tax will not be acceptable. Some of them expressed their opinion as if govt is serious in saving the state’s institutions then it must save Pakistan Railway at first.
Some 20 percent people said in the survey that the citizens must cooperate with the government to meet challenges. The Govt already deducts 18 rupees out of 100 rupees from mobile cards and by the implementation of additional 2 rupees will result expensive communication for the public.
