The government on Friday has decided to challenge Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) pertaining to the results of NA-75 in Lahore High Court (LHC).
As per the details, PM Imran Khan presiding over a meeting with Special Assistant to CM Punjab Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Advocate Ali Zafar and Ali Asjad Malhi announced the decision.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan informed the PM the whole Daska by-election scenario while the legal team advised him on the next course of action.
Moreover, two petitions will be filed in the Lahore High Court out of which one petition will challenge the re-polling in NA-75 Daska while the second will challenge ECP’s decision to take action against administrative officers.
