Pak Youth, Afghan Club basketball series begins tomorrow

LAHORE: Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBBF) will organize a 3-match basketball series between Pakistan Youth and Afghan Club teams. According to PBBF spokesman, the first basketball match of the series will be played at Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on February 27 at 2pm. Top national and international basketball players and officials will take part in the exhibition basketball match. Commissioner Income Tax FBR Lahore and Senior Vice-President PBBF Abdul Jawad will be the Chief Guest of the match. Director Education Haripur and President PBBF Alamgir Khan will also grace the occasion. PBBF President Alamgir Khan will preside over an important meeting immediately after the match to decide the schedule and venues of remaining two basketball matches of the series. The organizing committee of the 3-match series will consist of PBBF General Secretary Ambreen Butt, Col Naseem Butt, Asif Afridi, Tahir Khan, Saeed Afridi, Kh Abdur Rehman, M Akram, Imtiaz ul Hasan while Master Siddique from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be the organsing secretary.
