Ejaz made NMBL CEO


LAHORE – A Group of Investors under the Chairmanship of Jamshed Iqbal Cheema who is also chairs “Auriga Group of Companies” and Muhammad Akram Shahid, Chairman of “United International Group (UIG)”, have taken over Network Microfinance Bank Limited (NMBL), after acquiring major share holding of NMBL. The names of the new “Board of Directors and Management” of the NMBL are Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Muhammad Akram Shahid, Muhammad Azam Cheema, Qamar-uz-Zaman, Ms. Shahida Bilquis, Ejaz Ahmed Khan and Shoaib Ahmad Butt.
The Management Control of the Bank has also been taken over with effect from, January 24, 2012 by Group of Investors. Moreover, Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Khan who was former Executive Vice President of Askari Bank Limited, has been appointed as President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Network Microfinance Bank Limited (NMBL). Seasoned banker Ejaz, has varied banking experience, his banking career spans over 38 years during which period he has held senior position with leading domestic and Foreign Banks.
