22 students injured as school van overturns

KARAK - Some 22 students, including males and females sustained injuries when a van of private educational institution overturned near Babalkhel in Karak. Two serious students were referred to hospital in Peshawar. The van of a private school was carrying students to a School in Chokara, Tehsil Takht-e-Nusrati, when it met with an accident on Indus Highway near Babalkhel.
The students identified as Marya daughter of Khan Rasheed, Sobia daughter of Shahidullah, Midat Balqiaz daughter of Balqiaz, Saman Rasheed daughter of Khan Rasheed, Kashif Hayat, Nadir, Qasim Abdur Rehman, Fawad, Abdul Qadir, Owais, Zahaib, M Irfan, Md Shoaib, Imamul Haq, Abdur Rasheed, Aamir Sohail, Umer, Shaheen, Sajid, Nawaz and Marwa sustained injuries.

 They were immediately taken to the district headquarters hospital Karak by the local people and the two serious students were referred to Peshawar in critical conditions.
Many students were discharged after first aid, however some were admitted to the hospital. The students van accident news was spread like a Jangle fire in the district and the parents of the students and large number of people reached to district headquarters hospital for blood donation.
Advisor to Chief Minister on Prisons Affairs Malik Qasim Khan Khattak, District Advisory Development Committee Chairman Gul Sahib Khan and Assistant Commissioner Takht-e-Nusrati Irfan Wazir reached the hospital and enquired after the health of students. They also directed the management of the hospital to give best
treatment to students.
