PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engineer Shaukatullah Khan approved the establishment of a Cricket Academy for the youth of FATA. The decision in principle was made instantly in a meeting with cricket star Shahid Afridi, who called on him at the Pakhtunkhwa House Islamabad Saturday morning. The governor agreed with the proposal that there was a lot of talent in the tribal areas and the youth there have a lot of fondness and affection for cricket but the problem is they lacked both opportunities and facilities. Such opportunities, the governor said will help youth effectively contribute to such healthy activities and promotion of the soft image of the country in general and FATA in particular. –Staff Reporter
