KOT RADHA KISHAN- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf district leader Sardar Nabi Ahmad said that the PML-N government had failed to form a national security policy to rid the country of terrorist activities.

Talking to newsmen, he said the federal cabinet had not yet reached consensus on national security policy whereas the country was facing a serious challenge of terrorism. He added that the cabinet in its meeting had rejected a draft of national security policy, terming it incomplete.

He noted that the government was confused and still undecided regarding initiation of dialogues with the Taliban or a military operation against them. Over 50,000 people from Afghanistan enter Pakistan illegally but the government had failed to stop the illegal migration, he said. He criticised the government for its failure to save innocent people being killed in the country every day. He demanded that that federal government should immediately resign as it was doing nothing for the people.

LOADSHEDDING: Despite tall claims of the government, about 18-hour a day power loadshedding was being carried out in the city.

Electricity remained suspended on Thursday from 4:00am to 11:00am and again from 12:00am to 5:00pm. Trades and representatives of different social organisations said that the government had adopted the policy of destroying the business of shopkeepers.
