islamabad - On the directives of Member Administration, Capital Development Authority Muhammad Yasir Pirzada salaries of 30 absent employees of Sanitation Directorate have been withheld.

These officials were attached with other formations and officers without permission and were also given deadline to report back to the Sanitation Directorate, failing which their salaries have been stopped. Administration Wing of CDA had directed 56 employees of the Sanitation Directorate to report in the Sanitation Directorate by January 23, 2018 but only 26 out of 56 reported in the Directorate. Therefore, salaries of remaining 30 officials were stopped.

Member Administration CDA Muhammad Yasir Pirzada said that in order to ensure discipline and improve performance of different formations, concrete administrative steps are being taken.

He said the step taken to depute the sanitation officials back to sanitation directorate would help resolve issue regarding shortage of staff in the directorate. He said that capabilities of sanitation officials can be best utilized in their specified field.

He further said that strict implementation of right man at right place policy is being ensured in the Authority. He added that no relaxation would be given to the violators of the rules and regulations.

The officials whose salaries have been stopped include Sanitary Inspectors Mukhtar, Kashif Ali and Syed Shahid Hussain Shah attached with Enforcement Directorate; Sanitary Inspectors Rana Fazal Abbas, Muhammad Ghafoor Khan and Pirzada Khan and others.

 attached with DMA; Cleaners including Ashraf Masih, Muhammad Siddique, Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Bashir, Muhammad Shahzad, Muhammad Ramzan, Awais Rehman, Muhammad Adrees, Salamat Masih, Arif Masih, Imran Jalal, Khalid Mehmood, Muhammad Sharafat, Zewardad, Qamar Abbas, Tauqeer Balal, Younis Masih, Abdul Qadus, Aneel Masih, Inderyas, Khalid Masih, Boota Masih and driver Sagheer Ahmed and Security Guard Saboor working in different formations.
