KARACHI - Meezan Bank Limited (MBL) and Riphah International University (RIU) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding under which MBL will provide technical services for launching an MBA programme with specialization in Islamic Banking and Finance. Shariah Advisor of Meezan Bank Limited, Dr. Imran Usmani and Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University, Dr. Anis Ahmed signed the MOU at University Campus today. Under this memorandum, MBL will provide technical and training assistance to RIU for designing the course curriculum, selection of text books, development of case studies, training of RIU faculty and students etc. Speaking on the occasion, Shariah Advisor of Meezan Bank Limited, Dr. Imran Usmani said that this initiative would further pave the way for such Islamic Banking and Finance degree programmes that would help bridge the scarcity of required human resource for Islamic banking and finance industry. Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University, Dr. Anis Ahmed said that we are pleased to join hands with Meezan Bank Ltd to introduce this MBA programme with specialization in Islamic Banking and Finance.
