LONDON - There is no possibility of a meeting between Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif in London, well-placed sources confided to The Nation here on Friday. As per sources, Nawaz is readying for a brief visit to some other European country from where he will set off for Pakistan However, Prime Minister Gilani is reaching London on Sunday night when Nawaz Sharif would not be available there. Meanwhile, a spokesman of the PML-N Quaid said that neither the Prime Minister had expressed any desire for the meeting nor any such event is scheduled. It may be mentioned here that the Prime Minister will make a stopover in London en route to the US.
