LPG price up by Rs10/kg

LAHORE – LPG marketing companies have raised the prices of liquefied petroleum gas for the second time in Ramzan, claimed LPG Distributors Association Chairman Irfan Khokar here on Wednesday.According to him, the marketing companies have raised the prices of the gas by Rs10 per kg by openly challenging the writ of government and OGRA. “The price of domestic cylinder has gone up by Rs120 and commercial cylinder Rs480,” said Khokar. Despite OGRA’s fixed price of Rs83.30 per kg, the companies are selling gas between Rs100 to Rs125 per kg, he added. The companies those raised the price, according to him, are Fone Gas, Super Gas, Shell Gas, Pool Gas, Uni Gas and SHV. The new prices would applicable from Thursday (today).
