SAMBRIAL - Sialkot DCO Zahid Saleem Gondal visited Sambrial and Pasrur Sasta Ramazan bazaars and inspected standard of commodities placed on the various stalls here on Tuesday.
While talking to people present in the bazaar, the DCO said that aims and objectives of setting of Ramazan bazaars were to ensure supply of quality edibles and groceries items to consumers during the holy month of Ramazan on cheaper rates.
He said that no compromise would be made on the quality of items of daily-use, whereas, strict action would be taken by the administration, against shopkeepers indulging in unscrupulous measurement. He said that no one would be spared, who would demean the sacredness of holy month of Ramazan. He urged the people to inform the administration about suspicious elements.
DCO Gondal said that all Ramazan Bazaars were working in an exemplary manner, as essential items, fruits and vegetables, were being provided under one roof on affordable rates to the citizens. He said that regular monitoring of all Ramazan Bazaars was being conducted. The DCO said that foolproof security arrangements had taken across the district. The DCO, during his visit, inspected various stalls at Ramazan bazaars. He checked the standard, quality and the prices of various edible items including vegetables, fruit, pulses and meat.
Khosa visit Ramazan bazaar: Senior Advisor to Punjab CM, Zulifqar Khan Khosa visited sasta bazaars set up here and inspected the quality of different daily-use items e.g dates, rice, vegetables and fruits.
He was accompanied by Assistant commissioner Sumaira Zaheer. On the occasion, the Advisor praised her efforts for making Ramazan bazaar successful.
Khosa gave a fair hearing to the public complaints. The advisor assured the people that the quality of all edible items being sold at the bazaar would be ensured and stern action would be taken against violators of the government standards for quality.
