KARACHI  - The traffic problems of the metropolis including those of the Defence Housing Society would be resolved on priority basis.This was stated by Commissioner Roshan Ali Shaikh on Wednesday. He was presiding over a meeting after talking to a delegation of Defence Residents Association in his office.The Commissioner said that concrete steps would be taken in consultation with the Traffic Police, Traffic Engineering Bureau and the Civil Administration.At the meeting the issues pertaining to traffic jam on various thoroughfares of the metropolis particularly before Iftar time and Traveeh.The Commissioner said that traffic jam was one of the biggest problems and by undertaking concrete steps to resolve the same and ensuring smooth flow of traffic during Ramazan, relief can be provided to the people.
