LAHORE - Muhammad Rizwan, a student of matriculation who hails from a poor background bagged second position in the matriculation (Humanties Group boys) examinations of Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.

Rizwan secured the position in the examination despite the work he had to do for earning his bread and butter and bear his educational expenses.

The samosa seller, whose father is a security guard, appeared in the examination as a private candidate. At the prize distribution ceremony, Rizwan told media that he had almost given up on his education due to his circumstances but the media inspired him to resume his studies. He said that he attended his school in morning while working in evening.
