LAHORE  -  MMA President Maulana Fazlur Rehman is losing by hands of PTI candidates in two National Assembly constituencies of his hometown D.I Khan.

The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal chief who also heads the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl is losing from Ali Amin Gandapur of PTI from NA-38 and Yaqoob Sheikh of PTI from NA-39 in initial around 10 per cent poll results reported by different local channels till the filing of this report.

His margin of defeat, however, is also very low not more than 1000 votes at each seat. The situation can be changed any time as the results might take next two to three hours to be finalised. A JUI-F leader from Lahore claimed that Maulana Fazl would clearly beat his opponents at both the seats.

Situation is almost same in favour of PTI candidate Muhammad Bashir Khan against Jamaat-i-Islami Chief Sirajul Haq who is losing with a clear margin in initial poll results from his home constituency NA-7 Lower Dir-II.

Siraj is Senator from KP and will resume his seat in Upper House in case he loses the NA election.
