Earlier, on July 25, Major General Asif Ghafoor thanked the brave Pakistani nation for using their right to vote and showing their love for the men in uniform.
Right after the polling time was over, Ghafoor posted an emotional tweet on military’s official twitter handle, thanking the Pakistani nation.
“Thank you Pakistan,” wrote DG ISPR in his tweet.

“World has seen Pakistani nation's love and respect for Pakistan armed forces and LEAs today,” he added in his emotional tweet.
He further said, “Pakistani nation have rejected all kinds of malicious propaganda.”
“Unflinching support of Pakistani nation is behind the strength of Pakistan's armed forces,” Ghafoor concluded.
