The Chairman of United Jihad Council, Syed Salah-ud-Din, has said that laces of Kashmiris have not scarified their lives for trade or business but for resolution of the Kashmir dispute and complete freedom from Indian bondage. According to KMS, Welcoming the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moons recent assertion on Kashmir, Syed Salah-ud-Din in a statement said the World Body had to be serious in resolving the lingering dispute. He said, Laces of Kashmiris have laid their lives in realizing their aspirations and it is ironic that there has been no breakthrough on Kashmir issue. He termed the cross-LoC trade or other such things as a deliberate attempt by New Delhi to weaken the Kashmiris ongoing freedom movement and to sabotage the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people. We are not against the cross LoC trade or good relations between Pakistan and India but New Delhi is playing tactics to occupy main dispute in disguise. The intensity and the clamour about the trade and other such tactics divert attention of the people and world community from core issue of Kashmir and in the garb of trade India is laying a trap in Kashmir to occupy the land and cut the forests, he added. Syed Salah-ud-Din said that unresolved Kashmir was the main hurdle in peaceful atmosphere and friendly relationship between the two neighbouring countries.
