OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - South Korea shattered Pakistans dreams for cruising into the final of Under-18 Junior Asia Hockey Cup by beating them 2-1 in a crucial semi-final clash at Singapore on Saturday. Now Pakistan will play Singapore in a classification match for the third place on June 26 (today). Defending champions Pakistan failed to rise to the occasion despite being 1-0 at the first half as Koreans came with renewed pledge to hand them over a shocking defeat, according to information made available here. Pakistan wrapped up the first half after getting a goal from Waseem Abbas but the glittering performance of the green shirts gradually faded away in the second half and Koreans made inroads in their fragile defence through persistent attacking and awesome running up and down the flank. The determined efforts of Koreans led them to two goals in the second half and Pakistan found it hard to come out of the pressure and to salvage their pride as the holders of the title.
