Four more dead in Karachi

KARACHI - Four people including a woman were shot dead in separate violent incidents on Tuesday.
A man was gunned down near Gate No-3, New Truck stand within the remits of Maripur police station.
Police officials said that Yousuf, 32, resident of Mianwali Colony, was going somewhere when some unidentified armed riders shot him dead. He died on the spot. the body was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi for autopsy and later handed over to heirs. Police suspected that the motive behind killing was personal enmity.
A young man was shot dead in Ghosia Colony area of Gulbahar within the limits of Rizvia police station. Police said that victim 17-years-old Abdullah was standing near his residence when unknown armed men came and opened fire. He was rushed to the hospital where doctor pronounced him dead. The motive behind the murder has yet to be ascertained.
A drug peddler was shot dead in KBR society within the jurisdiction of Taimoria police station. Police officials said that he was identified as Abbas, 32. It said that unidentified culprits targeted him and later fled from the scene. Police shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem. It said that he was a drug peddler and suspected that rival groups might be behind his murder while further investigation was underway.
A woman was gunned down in New Muzaffarabad Colony within the jurisdiction of Quaidabad police station. Police officials said that two armed men barged into the house and started indiscriminate firing. As result 40-year-old Jahan Begum sustained bullet injuries and died on the spot. Police shifted the body to hospital for autopsy.
