Dacoits rampaged through the district areas, depriving people of cash, gold ornaments, motorcycles, car and others valuables worth millions of rupees besides injuring two persons on offering resistance here the other day. According to details, armed dacoits set up a picket on Easarke Road in the remit of Saddr Police where they stopped one Sarwar and his nephew Kaleem Ullah were on the way to village Easarke from Dera Malal. The bandits deprived them of motorcycle, cash, cellphone and other valuables. The culprits also shot at and injured them when they put up resistance. They were shifted to DHQ hospital. In another incident three dacoits intercepted a trader namely Hidayat Ali and robbed him of Rs300,000 when he was on the way to his shop after drawing the amount from a local bank. The Farooqabad Saddr Police looking into the matter. Similarly a trader Muhammad Boota was deprived of his Suzuki car when he parked it in DHQ Hospital in the limit of City A Division Police.
