ISLAMABAD Pakistan Television (PTV) achieved their third successive victory in the Patrons Trophy Grade-II by beating Pakistan Ordinance Factories (POF) Wah by an innings and 20 runs at POF cricket ground Wah Cantt. The POF won the toss and decided to bat first. However, they could score 234 in 58.3 overs in their first innings. PTV got 133 runs lead over POF by scoring 367 in 82.1 overs. Raheel Majid (125), Haif Majid (86) and Naved Qureshi (58) were the main contributors for the winners. POF, in their second innings, could score just 113 runs in 32 overs. Fast bowlers Umer and Nasrullah did well with the ball and bowled out the POF openers in the first two overs. Later, spinners Yasim Mutaza and Asif did not allow POF to settle down through out the day with their excellent bowling and bowled the POF team at the lowest score of 113. By winning third match, PTV also qualified for the semi-final. PTV has obtained 27 points in three matches. PTV will play last match of his pool against Income Tax from March 27 to 29 at Diamond cricket Ground.
