LAHORE Members Punjab Assembly belonging to minorities on Friday wore black bands to express resentment over the burning of Holy Quran, staged symbolic walkout from the floor and condemned the so-called pastor Terry Jones for indulging in the nefarious act. While speaking on behalf of the Christians, they were of the view that the unholy act was done by an individual, and Christian community was hurt by this, and expressed solidarity with their Muslim brethren, while demanding of the United Nations to act against the blasphemer pastor. After making short speeches, they also left the floor as a symbolic boycott to register their protest against the US pastor, and to force the American government for taking stern action against the blasphemer. Minority Affairs Minister Kamran Michael told the House that all churches had strongly condemned the unholy act. Christians of Pakistan have nothing to do with the US since we have to live and die for Pakistan.
