The Supreme Court on Saturday issued contempt of court notices to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh Secretary General Taj Haider and PMA Sharjeel Memon. The two leaders had called for the March 11 strike in Sindh against the apex courts decision regarding the appointment of Deedar Hussain Shah as Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), condemning the verdict and describing it a biased ruling. The court has summoned the two on April 1 to initiate proceedings under Article 204 of the Constitution and Clause three of the Contempt of Court Ordinance 2003.
