ISLAMABAD - International observers have started contacting the Foreign Office for monitoring of the general elections due on May 11, 2013. The European Union have sent Foreign Office a list of 100 persons who would stay in Pakistan for four to six weeks in order to monitor the general elections. The application demanding clearance of the delegation has been sent to government institutions. The visa clearance and travel plan will be issued to the international observers for monitoring the election campaign. They will also be briefed with regard to security. An important meeting will be held between officials of the Interior and Foreign Ministry in this regard on March 27.
