TOBA TEK SINGH - Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) Chief Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Ludhianvi has demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to order recovery of all money which former federal education minister Sheikh Waqas Akram (SWA) received as MNA from the National Assembly during his five year term and also declare him as disqualified for the upcoming General Elections.

While addressing a press conference here at Kamalia, the ASWJ chief stated that when it had been established that education credentials of Waqas Ikram were fake, the ECP must recover the public money from him. He pointed out that it was strange that instead of being ashamed Waqas Ikram was again aspirant for the forthcoming general elections. To a question, Maulana Ludhianvi said that the ASWJ would reciprocate whatever strategy the PML-N adopted regarding the upcoming general elections.

He claimed that the ASWJ had nothing to do with with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi or any terrorist organisation, saying that his organisation truly believed in struggle for Islamic system based on the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and Sahaba Karam (RTA) in a peaceful manner.

ASWJ Kamalia President Rai Najeebullah Khan, Maulana Masroor Jhangvi and Maulana Aslam Farooqi were also present.
