RAHIM YAR KHAN - A poetry programme in honour of famous poet Jabbar Wasif was organised by poet organisation “Soch” here the other day.
The programme was presided over by famous writer, journalist and columnist Mehmood Sham while special guest of this program was DDI Colleges Mirza Tanveerul Hassan. Superior College Principal Saqib Imran, The City School Principal Rana Tahir Bashir, DEO education Rashida Kamil and many other famous personalities of the city participated in the programme.
On the occasion, Na’at was recited by famous Na’at Khawan Ghulam Sabir Yousufi who specially came from Karachi. In this program guest poets who read the poetry were: Hadayat Kashif, G Mustafa Qamar, Dr Mukhtar Azmi, Murshad Saeed, Rizwana Saeed, Ameen Babar, Ajmal Fareed, Saghir Ahmed, Javed Hameed, Munir Abid, Khalid Javed, Yavish Mansoor, Khawar Asad, Shahzad.
 Aatir, Aazar Bukhari, Shahid Yasir, Hameed Sabri, Afzal Nasir, Shabnam Awan, Qamar Bashir, Basit Ismaeel, Mirza Faisal, Iftikhar Danish, Shahbaz Hameed Gohar, Sajjad Raaz, Prof Muzamil Saadi and Prof Shahbaz Nayyar.
