Pakistani leg-spinner Yasir Shah’s ban period has ended today. He was banned by ICC on December 28, 2015 after failing a doping test.

After accepting that he had taken the banned medicine mistakenly, Pakistan’s leading leg-spinner had been banned for three months. A well presented case by PCB and advice of his counsel helped limit Yasir’s ban.

Yasir Shah is the spearhead of the Pakistani spin attack, especially in Tests. He has performed exceptionally well against teams like Australia and England in the Test series in UAW where Pakistan play their home matches.
