An indictment of PPP

Dr Farid Malik's column (The Nation May 10) is an indictment of the PPP without him saying so. He says General Musharraf should have been impeached by now, but avoids saying it is actually BB's deal with him that is saving him. He blames the Khaki chairman of WAPDA for the power crisis, without mentioning that his efforts had been thwarted by the Sindhis risen up against Kalabagh dam by BB. He mentions ISI's role in civilian matters without naming Bhutto for having given ISI this role. These half-truths do more to confuse the public mind. Call a spade a spade and let the people decide. -KHURSHID ANWER, Lahore Cantt., via e-mail, May 10.
