ISLAMABAD - CIA Police has arrested seven accused involved in several cases of robberies, theft, drug selling and recovered stolen property, including gold ornaments, snatched on gunpoint and net cash amounting to Rs 100,000 from their custody.  All the accused have been booked under the law. According to reports, CIA Police arrested three accused Muhammad Nazir, son of Muhammad Aziz, resident of Sialkot, Abu Zar, son of Saleem Khan resident of Mardan and Yasir Khan, son of Nasir Khan, resident of Peshawar involved in robbery and recovered gold ornaments looted on gunpoint from House No 14, Street No 52, F-11/3. A case has been registered with Shalimar Police Station vide FIR No 186/8 dated 10-4-2008 U/S 395-PPC, 20 Harabaa. Accused Dil Agha, son of Maher Muhammed resident of Afghanistan involved in case FIR No 42 dated 20-2-08 U/S 457/380-PS Bharakahu and case FIR No 296 dated 4-5-2007 U/S 457/380-PPC Shahzad Town Police who was declared as proclaimed offender in the said cases had been arrested and recovered stolen property amounting rupees one lake from his possession. Similarly, three accused namely Ahmad Khan, Ashfaq Ahmad and Khurshid were apprehended during patrolling and recovered 1,320 grams hashish from their possession. Three cases, two at Shahzad Town Police Station and one at Golra Police Station had been registered against the accused. Acting SSP Dr Moeen Masood appreciated the above performance of CIA Police and announced cash reward with Commendation Certificates for the Police Officials.
