LAHORE - To criticise the rulers for mounting inflation and price-hike in the country the Jamat Islami took out a protest rally against inflation on Sunday at The Mall. The rally started from Masjid-e-Shuhada and ended at the Faisal Chowk. The participants were carrying banners and placards inscribed with the slogans against the government. Protestors flayed the government for not addressing the problems of the common man saying recent spikes of price hikes had made it difficult for the poor man to make both ends meet. JI's Amir-ul-Azeem, Khaksar Tehrik's Hamid-ud-Din Mashriqi and other participants addressed the gathering. Demo against Marzai sect World Pasban Khatam-e-Nabuwat (WPKN) organised a protest demonstration against Marzai sect outside Lahore Press Club on Sunday. The participants were holding banners and placards inscribed with writings against Marzai sect. They were chanting slogans and Marzais. They demanded stringent action against blasphemers and removal of high-ranking officials belonging to Marzai sect from jobs. Later, the demonstrators carried a rally from Press Club to Empress Road.
