The rising power of Taliban and drone attacks are two of the greatest dangers to Pakistan's sovereignty. In war against terrorism, Pakistan is a loyal ally of the USA. The rising specter of extremism, though, is having a horrendous impact on Pakistan. The drone attacks have been adding fuel to fire, further aggravating the incensed emotions in the country. The US government should not make a scapegoat of Pakistan for its failure in Afghanistan.
