MULTAN - MNA and central leader of Nawaz League Hamza Shahbaz on Tuesday hinted at the goals of his party in near future, saying PML-N would come into power at the centre with thumping majority very soon and Nawaz Sharif would become Prime Minister for third term. Addressing a women workers convention held here at Multan Arts Council, he said that the people knew the difference between the ones, who robbed their rights, and their national leader Mian Nawaz Sharif, who refused to bow down before external pressure and carried out nuclear blasts in larger national interest. He claimed that Nawaz league was the only political party that could steer the country out of crisis and put it on the path of progress and prosperity. He said that Mian Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif were the only politicians who honoured all promises they made with the public. He lashed out at former rulers of Punjab, saying they robbed public rights during their five-year regime and kept licking the shoes of a dictator. 'Now theyre touting the issue of separate province to re-alive their dying politics, he maintained. He alleged that the former rulers of Punjab misappropriated Rs09 billions from Bank of Punjab. 'The prime accused of this scandal Hamesh Khan is extradited to the country because of efforts of Punjab government and now he is behind the bars, he added. He said that the workers and old companions would be given their due respect. 'No new faces will be imposed on them. All party offices will be given to those, who have rendered valuable sacrifices for the party, he added. He said that Multan was fortress of the party and the loyal workers, who rendered sacrifices at tough times, would be given jobs. He said that South Punjab had a good number of the lovers of Nawaz Sharif. He declared that the party would be reorganised in Multan. 'Responsibilities will be given to the elected office-bearers after constitution of new committees, he added. He asked the female workers to go door-to-door, launch membership drive and spread the message of Nawaz League. Speaking on this occasion, senior adviser to the chief minister Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa, said that the female workers played the role of backbone in the party. He said that the party leadership was well aware of the sacrifices rendered by the workers. 'It is clear direction of Mian Nawaz Sharif that the office-bearers should be selected from workers at grass root level and offices should be given to those, who have sacrificed for the party, he added.
