ISLAMABAD - A three-member bench of the Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned the case of Mian Shahbaz Sharif membership of Punjab Assembly till June 07. The bench, headed by Justice Shakirullah Jan, told the petitioner that in the absence of Justice Javed Iqbal they would not be able to hear his appeal. Shahid Orakzai, petitioner contended that the SC office unnecessarily delaying his case therefore the court give specific date for the hearing. Akram Sheikh, counsel for Shahbaz Sharif Chief Minister Punjab, that he was not in favour that the case is delayed. The petitioner has stated that the appeal would decide the constitutional status of Punjab government.
