QUETTA - A complete shutter down and wheel-jam strike was observed in different towns of Makran division on Wednesday against the recovery of bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch missing persons. Another mutilated body was recovered from Khuzdar district. Baloch National Front (BNF) an alliance of different Baloch nationalist parties and organisations, had given shutter down and wheel-jam strike call to condemn series of killing of Baloch youth. Five bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch political workers, including a government teacher were recovered from Panjgour and Turbat over past two days. As per reports reaching here, a complete shutter down and wheel-jam strike was observed in Panjgour district where all shops and markets remained closed throughout the day. Traffic was also suspended in Panjgour city and highways connecting it with other towns of the province owing to wheel-jam strike. Similarly, shutter down strike was also observed in Turbat, Mand, Tump and other towns of Kech district where banks, post offices and some educational institutes remained closed. Local administration had taken tight security measures to avoid any untoward incident. On other hand, another bullet riddled body was recovered in Khuzdar, some 360km away from Quetta. Police on a tip-off recovered the body from Gazgi Chowk of Khuzdar and shifted it to the hospital for autopsy where he was identified as Jamal, resident of Mashkay area of Awaran district. Hospital sources said that the victim was shot in the head and other parts of body, and he was severely tortured before being killed. They said the body had also several drill marks. Police after completing legal formalities handed over the body to heirs and started investigation.
