LONDON (CM): Dave Grohl dedicated three songs to Taylor Swift at a festival in Britain on Sunday night because he was so astounded to land the pop star as the “opening act” for his band Foo Fighters. The rocker and his group headlined Radio 1’s Big Weekend event in Norwich, England and they took to the stage an hour after Swift played a short set at the festival. He went on to dedicate two more songs to the star throughout the show.
, adding, “My kids would kill me if they found out (Swift was our opening act)... I’m officially obsessed, she might want to get a restraining order... To my opening band, Taylor Swift. Taylor and the Swifts.” The Foo Fighters are due to headline Britain’s Glastonbury Festival in June (15).
