The Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society (PESS) Mandi Bahauddin Chapter has announced support for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar in the by-election to NA-108 Mandi Bahauddin scheduled for June 8.
The announcement was made at the end of PESS office bearers meeting held here on Monday with Major Sher Gondal in chair. Prominent among office bearers were Senior Vice President Maj (r) Nasir Javed, Capt (r) Taimur and Capt (r) Aslam, Capt (r) Saleh, SM Muhammad Bashir, Chief Warrant Officer Abdul Ghani, Chief Petty Officer Muhammad Sharif, Chief Petty Officer Muhammad Aslam and Capt (r) Lal Khan Sahi. The meeting discussed contesting candidates and their parties manifesto one-by-one and after long deliberations, the decision was made to support PML-N candidate Mumtaz Tarar. The participants vowed to launch campaign in their respective areas to motivate people to cast vote in favour of the PML-N candidate.
