US lawmaker vows to continue working to improve Pakistan-US ties

Co-Chair of Congressional Pakistan Caucus, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has expressed resolve to make efforts towards improving bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States, reported by Radio Pakistan.

Speaking at an Iftar-Dinner at Pakistan Embassy in Washington, she said she would work on the Capitol Hill for further deepening of linkages between Pakistan and the US through diplomacy and mutual cooperation.

Pakistan ambassador Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry said peace, love and tolerance are the essence of all faiths in the world.

Speaking on the occasion, eminent representatives of Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and Sikh religions emphasized the importance of interfaith harmony and tolerance.
