Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Wednesday conveyed growing concern of Pakistan government as well as of the public to British Foreign Secretary over attacks from across the border into Pakistan territory. The British Foreign Minister, David Miliband, who is on a one day visit to Pakistan and his second in six months also discussed bilateral relations, matters relating to the European Union, the Friends of Democratic Pakistan Forum, counter-terrorism, the situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan's relations with India. Miliband had a Breakfast meeting with the Foreign Minister while he also scheduled to meet President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani. He underscored that greater world attention was now on Pakistan as an important player not just in the fight against terrorism but also in the regional economic and security context.
