I would like to advise to General Musharraf that he should not waste his time on slinging mud on our political leaders. Every thoughtful Pakistani knows that the present lot of the politician have no abilities to solve the problems faced by the common man and the multiple crises faced by the country. Politicians have failed to discharge their duties honestly and to serve the country. Their incompetence and corruption is well known to the people. The prevailing corruption and inflation has reached horrific proportions. There is no Unity, Faith and Discipline in the country. The politicians after coming into power and those holding the office of President, Prime Minister and Chief Ministers are behaving like kings of yore, keeping all the powers concentrated in their hands. They claim that they are champions of democracy but do not want election in their own parties. General Musharraf should outline his plans and policies on how to make Pakistan the ideal place envisioned by its founder Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. APML should hold conventions in major cities as soon as possible so that those who are fed up with the present political parties can join APML. ENGR. ST HUSSAIN, Novemver 25.
