OUR STAFF REPORTER OKARA - Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat chief Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Ludhianvi has said for the first time in history, ruling parties are protesting on the roads, which may damage democracy in the country. In January, 2012, he announced, his party would hold a conference to express solidarity with Pakistan. Maulana Ludhianvi urged PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif to let his partys parliamentarians tender their resignation from the national and provincial assemblies. He stressed the need for a comprehensive inquiry into the memo delivered to Admiral Mike Mullen by Hussain Haqqani, adding that the Army is an honourable institution. If such a case had taken place in any other country, the perpetrators would have been put behind bars, He said, expressing a suspicion that the government would bury the matter unresolved. On the occasion, a large number of party workers were also present.
