OUR STAFF REPORTER NOORPUR THAL DSP Mehr Khadim Hussain Malooka has assured that the police have made comprehensive plan to maintain law and order situation during the holy month of Muharramul Harram. He stated this while presiding over a meeting of the Peace Committee which was held at TMA office here on Friday. The TMA had also taken different steps for the security arrangements regarding the forthcoming holy month of Muharram. Former District Chairman Public Police Committee Malik Nasir Ali Gugar, former UC Nazim Haji Muhammad Farooq, former Councillor Malik Khalid Iqbal Awan, Sardar Ali Hussain Khan Baloch and others social workers also attended the meeting. DSP emphasized the police officers and members of the peace committee to adopt scientific and modern security resources. Under the security plan, volunteers will be activated to check participants of Majalis and processions through metal detectors, he added. Strict vigilance will be maintained to ensure that security measures are put in place by the police as well as peace committees, the DSP said. He asked the Ulema to keep a vigilant eye on mischievous elements to avert any unpleasant incident during the holy month. On the occasion, all the members of peace committee also assured the DSP of their cooperation in this connection.
