OUR STAFF REPORTER CHINIOT - DCO Dr Irshad Ahmad, DPO Rana Shehzad Akbar said that foolproof security arrangements have been chalked out for maintaining peace in the district during Muharramul Haram. They said there would be high security alert for forty days and stick Checking would be made at various points in the city. They said that special duties had been assigned to the police personal to provide security cover to processions and majalis in the holy month and additional police force have been called for sensitive areas in the district. The DCO asks the Ulama to extend cooperation to maintain of peace. He said that administration had constituted peace committees at Union Council and Thana Tehsil levels. He said that administrations had imposed ban on speeches of nineteen Ulama and zakirs. These Ulama and zakirs include Maulana Qari Yameen Gohar, Maulana Muhammad Char Yari, Hafiz Abubaker, Maulana Abdul Hakeem, Maulana Abdur Rauf, Maulana Muhammad Farooq, Maulana Ghulam Mustafa, Maulana Muhammad Moghira, Maulana Hafiz Javaid Ahmad, Molvi Matloob Hussain, Maulana Umar Farooq, Mufti Lal Muhammad, Maulana Abdur Rasheed, Hafiz Sher Muhammad, Qari Muhammad Abid, Mazhar Hussain Kazmi, Ghulam Sabbir Rajoya Sadar, Wajid Ali Naqwi Kulia Ahle Bait and Maulana Muhammad Ayyub. Police clueless about dacoits: One month has elapsed but the police are still clueless about the dacoits who broke into Advocate Malik Mukhtar Ahmads house.
