Our Staff Reporter KARACHI Consulate of the United Arab Emirates Karachi will organise the 'UAE Expo 2011 from November 30 to December 02, 2011 at Karachi. According to press released issued by Sohail Bin Matar Al-Ketbi, Consul General of United Arab Emirates, stated that Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates enjoy very strong ties because of their cultural and traditional similarity and geographical location. He said the relation between the two nations has been flourishing for decades and developed into wide-ranging cooperation in many fields. The two states share common concerns and perceptions on various regional and international issues. UAE has always come forward to stand with Pakistan in the times of crises. The growing relations between Pakistan and the UAE in the trade and industry have paved the way for strengthening the economy of the two states. Being Pakistans one of the major trading partners and the second largest source of home remittances from Pakistani emigrants working in UAE, the bonding of the two nations is a significant stepping stone towards betterment of the entire Muslim Nation, while providing ample opportunities to further reinforce these bilateral ties, he added.
